Archival storage is generally a requirement for most organizations where documents and records are produced and need to be stored for a period of time, either for legal reasons or based on company retention schedules. Archived documents are generally low activity documents that do not see a high retrieval, delivery and re-file cycle.

MTM provides customers with the ease of same day pickup and delivery service, along with secure onsite/web access to ensure data is available whenever and wherever needed.

Once MTM receives a box for archive storage, the contents of the box are indexed and barcoded at the box, file, or document-level and then stored in a dedicated, secure, climate-controlled environment until the return or confidential destruction is requested and authorized by the customer.

State-Of-The-Art Security

MTM International’s Records Storage Center is continually monitored by professional security services, and is closed to the general public. Facility entrances are secured at all times, and all approved visitors require registration prior to gaining escorted entry into the facility. To further ensure record safety and protection, only authorized MTM staff have access to customer records, and all employees are held to the highest of confidentiality and ethical standards.

The MTM facility was designed to meet current and future needs by utilizing industry-leading standards in security technology and construction. The facility is equipped with fire prevention systems which exceed NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 232 mandated regulations to keep records safe from the hazards of broken pipes and condensation. Further, the structural integrity of the facility was designed to meet and exceed wind speed disaster ratings.

Active sprinkler system checked and tested regularly
State-of-the-art, early-warning smoke and heat detectors
24-hour professional security services
High-security keypad access systems for all doors
Exterior and perimeter steel doors locked and secured at all times
Backup tapes rotated to alternate sites on a daily basis
Interruption-proof contingency business plan utilizing alternative sites
Records access only by authorized personnel with security clearance by management
Full adherence to NFPA 232 standards
Ongoing review of all procedures and policies
